Milvus 采用微服务架构。官方 Docker 镜像 milvusdb/milvus 仅包含 Milvus 的核心组件(如 QueryNode, DataNode, RootCoord 等)。

  • Etcd:用于元数据存储,必须作为独立进程运行(官方推荐独立容器或集群)。
  • MinIO:用于对象存储,必须作为独立进程运行(官方推荐独立容器或集群)

Docker 的最佳实践是“一个容器一个进程”。官方从未在 milvusdb/milvus 镜像中打包 etcd 和 minio 的二进制文件并配置为通过环境变量自动启动。

Milvus 提供的 standalone_embed.sh 脚本看起来像是一键启动,但它实际上是生成了 docker-compose.yml,启动了三个独立的容器,而不是在一个容器内运行所有服务。
